The VA Series combines a pneumatic actuator and fast on-off control valve into one body, eliminating packing glands, actuators and mounting kits. There are no exposed moving parts, eliminating pinch points and increasing operator safety. Since the actuator is part of the valve, costs are greatly reduced when compared to standard actuated valves. Operating life has been tested to well over 1,000,000 cycles, the balanced design reduces friction and wear. The stroke is linear and parallel to the flow, dramatically reducing the required force to close or open the valve. The internal waterway design was designed for optimum flow characteristics.

The SM series modulating brass ball valves are ideal for HVAC and industrial on/off and modulating applications. The quarter turn ball valve features a unique direct mount system that allows for extremely quick and easy actuator mounting, allowing for easy removal or replacement of the on/off or modulating compact electric actuator. When used with a modulating actuator, there are various flow optimizers (ball port inserts) that can be selected to achieve a precise flow control range. The addition of a parabolic disc to the full port ball valve converts the valve from a standard on/off ball valve to a more precise flow control valve. The disc, or "flow optimizing trim" makes the percentage of maximum flow increase evenly with direct relation to the percentage of the 90° rotation.

The K Series is a compact industrial duty quarter turn electric actuator specifically designed for ball and butterfly valves. The K Series incorporates a self locking gear train, NEMA-4/4X weatherproof enclosure, visual position indicator, manual override and ISO 5211 mounting pad. The actuator is available in 120 VAC and 24 VDC with a complete line of accessories available.

When FireChek® senses excessive heat from a nearby fire,it immediately vents the pneumatic actuator and closes the actuator air supply line. FireChek® triggers quickly,securing pneumatically operated process line valves. Because FireChek® responds to heat,not flame,it offers dramatically improved protection compared with conventional plastic tubing burn-through.It shuts off the air supply line to prevent plant air from feeding oxygen to a fire.
