Beswick Engineering compression fittings are designed with either one or two internal ferrules, which swage onto the outer diameter of a stiff plastic or metal tube to create a reliable line contact seal. The featured video shows the simple installation instructions when using a vice along with 1/16" OD tubing and a two piece ferrule. Beswick compression fittings can typically handle very high pressures, 1,000 psi or more, depending on the model. Configurations with redundant o-ring seals are available, specifically designed to seal against Teflon tubing. Some models are also offered with a larger through hole to accomodate a thermocouple.
