Our mission is to bring transparency to industrial production and energy plants, ensuring that every aspect of your system is captured and fully visible. With the iba solutions, you can trust that all processes are comprehensively recorded even in complex and highly distributed systems.
Our scalable data acquisition and analysis systems are designed to grow with your needs, easily integrating with all major industrial control systems. This flexibility ensures you can expand as demand increases without compromising performance.
In this video, we show how temperature data from an Optris thermal camera can be captured and displayed, including minimum, maximum, and average values within a defined region of interest. When a cold drink is poured into the glass, the temperature drops clearly and then slowly rises again as it adjusts to the surroundings. ibaCapture supports thermal cameras and adds a new dimension to process inspection. With ibaPDA, the temperature data is acquired in real time and can be recorded and analyzed time-synchronously together with other process data. This makes it easy to relate temperature changes directly to what is happening in the process.
With the ibaMAQS modular system, iba has raised the bar in the field of measurement technology. This flexible system enables application-specific
ibaPDA-PLC-Xplorer is the ideal entry-level solution as PC-based acquisition and recording system for various measuring data in automated processes. ibaPDA-PLC-Xplorer enables the acquisition and recording of up to 64 signals and offers data interfaces to SIMATIC S7 systems as well as CODESYS-based systems, Allen-Bradley, ABB, B&R, Bachmann, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi and SIGMATEK systems. Hence, it is possible to read internal data from the most common PLCs without modifying the PLC itself.
Learn how the iba system helps Siemens Energy monitor decentralized grids and ensure plant availability of more than 99 %. "The iba system allows you to bring together data from all kinds of manufacturers and systems and evaluate it centrally using a very powerful analysis tool. It's a game changer for our systems." Martin Haushofer, Key Expert at Siemens Energy, shares his insights and many years of experience with the iba system. Since its introduction, it has ensured that data is reliably recorded and errors are detected more quickly. For Siemens Energy, the iba system has thus become the central tool for data acquisition and analysis.
With ibaInSpectra, any vibrations are monitored continuously and possible error sources can be detected in an early stage. As ibaInSpectra is integrated ibaPDA, not only mere vibration analyses can be performed, but also possible relations between vibrational effects and process behavior can immediately be detected.
What is meant by computed values and KPIs and how can they be defined and processed with ibaAnalyzer?
With this webinar, you will learn the answer to this question and get a detailed insight in how to process raw data acquired with ibaPDA. No matter if data is stored in dat-files or in ibaHD-Server, ibaAnalyzer can be used to transform, aggregate and/or summarize the available information.
The results in the form of computed values or KPIs can, for example, be stored in SQL DBs or published with ibaDatCoordinator.
In the webinar, we focus on what we call "Northbound Connectivity" in the iba system. Based on different use-cases, we will explain how "iba data" can be provided to third-party systems and give advice on selecting the right technology. We distinguish between hot and cold data, meaning data streaming and batch transfer as well as direct read access to iba''s own time series database (ibaHD-Server) via API.
ibaManagementStudio provides a central overview of the currently installed iba software in a company network. All collected information such as license information, software version and status, etc. can be displayed on arbitrary systems by using a web browser only.
ibaInCycle monitors cyclically recurring and rotating processes online. A precise forecast of quality features is therefore possible already during production. Implementing measures promptly can prevent damage and malfunctions of machines or plants, thereby ensuring the product quality.
With ibaQPanel, process and quality data, conditions, events and video images can be displayed live in a technology and user related representation. It combines the functionality of an interactive measurement value display with elements from the HMI area and is integrated seamlessly in ibaPDA.
ibaVision integrates professional, industrial image processing into the iba system and enables visual monitoring and analysis of processes. Quality checks can be automated during the production and allow early intervention in the process before major errors occur.
With ibaAnalyer-Maps it is possible to display geographic positions and movement based on GPS coordinates. Therefore, ibaAnalyzer can be used to not only know when something happened but also where. Simply record longitude and latitude signals and start tracking your assets.
During this Webinar, some of the latest product news from iba will be presented and demonstrated: ibaInCycle - Online monitoring of cyclical processes and reoccurring process phases and ibaPDA database (DB) connectivity with DB time based data storage and DB interface. During the demo of ibaInCycle, the potential of ibaInCycle for monitoring anomalies, outliers and wear in reoccurring processes and process phases will be presented based on two customer cases. Indicators for alarming and trending are calculated live in real-time with the original data from customers.
In this webinar one of our experienced Application & Consulting Engineers will guide you step by step through the iba system. Through a live demo, you will learn more about the focus topic "Data Acquisition and Connectivity". The webinar provides first practical insights in a compact form. At the end of the webinar, our expert will answer questions online or follow-up subsequently.
In our first ibaAnalyzer tutorial, we will show you how to open a measurement file, analyze it and prepare it for evaluation. We start with the selection and preview of a suitable file, add digital signals and use filter and comparison functions for detailed process analysis. Finally, we explain how multiple files can be viewed and compared simultaneously to efficiently analyze production processes.
In the second tutorial from our ibaAnalyzer series, we show how product-related key quality indicators (KPIs) are calculated from machine measurement data. To do this, we convert time-scaled material thickness values into length-based values, determine the tolerance-compliant effective length of the hot strip and calculate the scrap lengths for head and tail trimming. Finally, we extract the results into a database for further analysis.
In the third tutorial, we configure an analysis to calculate setup times over a production shift in ibaAnalyzer. We show how the duration of the setup processes is determined with the integral function, mark the maximum values with smart logic and extract relevant time points. The recorded values serve as the basis for a later report, which will be explained in the next tutorial.
In our fourth tutorial, we configure an analysis to calculate setup times over a production shift and prepare the data for a report. We show how to identify relevant signals, calculate runtimes and intelligently determine maximum values. We then create a dynamic table for the report and optimize the layout in the Report Designer to obtain a precise and well-structured PDF document.
