Coiling Technologies offers a myriad of protective coating options for the custom springs we manufacture. We offer rust preventative options in a light protective coating such as Rust Veto 4222-S for extended indoor storage up to 9 months. If you are seeking additional protection both indoors and outdoors, then we can apply a heavy Cosmoline based coatings such as Tectyl Nox Rust X-110 which meets MIL standard MIL-C-16173 E and offers years of indoor storage capability.

We also offer Powder Coating options for both small
and large springs with in-line processing for high volumes or for extremely large pieces that are cured in our 12'x12' batch ovens. We offer a wide range of color options including custom colors. There is high durability powder paint as well as high temperature paint options and dual coat options that can exceed 1000 hrs. salt spray testing per ASTM B-117. If maximum mechanical performance
or impact resistance is required then CTI can also apply Polyarmor G17 which is an electrostatic thermoplastic powder coating, which by the way provides excellent NVH properties.
 
If you require electroplating options such as cadmium, nickel, zinc etc. we offer those through our local vendor partners. They can plate high volumes or small batch sizes to meet your custom spring
needs. Specialty coating options are also available including Praxair SermaGard which are applied by licensed facilities or Techline CermaKrome which exceeds 6500 hrs. salt spray capability.
