This appendix gives direct circulation minimum volumetric flow rates for deep air drilled boreholes. For API Mechanical Equipment standard conditions, the figures that follow give the approximate minimum volumetric flow rates as a function of drilling depth for the drilling rates of 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 ft/hr. Figures are developed from the calculations presented in Chapter 8.
