About the Author

Paul D. Groves holds a B.A. (with first class honors) in physics, an M.A. (Oxon), and a D.Phil. (Doctor of Philosophy) in experimental atomic and laser physics, all from the University of Oxford. He has been active in navigation systems research and development since joining the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency in January 1997. He transferred to QinetiQ Ltd. in July 2001 and, at the time of this writing, was a principal scientist in the Navigation and Positioning Algorithms team...
