ROTARY LOBE BLOWERS FOR INSTALLATION IN TANKERS AND SILO TRUCKS
Aerzen bulk vehicle blowers have been developed for installation in tankers and silo trucks with extended pressure differentials of up to 1.2 bar. Conveyance in two directions possible using either horizontal or vertical flow. Proven technology, oil-free.
SHAFT SEALINGS
Conveying chamber by the carbon ring labyrinth seal proven over decades in connection with the neutral chambers open to the atmosphere. Driving shaft with radial seal ring.

DESIGN WITH TWO-LOBE ROTORS
- The conveying chamber is completely separated from the oil sumps by a space open to atmosphere.
- The machine can be positioned upright, suspended from the top, and suspended from the left or right.
- They are also available with an integrated gearbox with a speed set-up ratio of i=2,1.
- The operating speed range is 1350 to 3200 1/min.
- The drive side is grease lubricated, while the gear side is splash oil lubricated.
- Gear driven models feature splash oil lubrication on both sides. Oil level check by means of dipstick.
SHAFT SEALINGS
The conveying chamber is sealed by means of four piston rings in combination with oil slingers adjacent to the vent space.
The drive shaft is sealed by a seal ring. Gear driven models are sealed by a radial seal ring.
DIRECTION OF FLOW
Both directions possible in horizontal or vertcial flow.
DRIVE
Via direct coupling or narrow v-belt drive.
THREE-LOBE ROTOR DESIGN
The design with three-lobe rotors features a cylinder with cast-in, pre-inlet channels at the discharge side. This design minimises the sound thanks to its pulsation reduction and has a speed range between 1450 and 4800 1/min. However, you can install it only vertically since its flow direction is vertical.
This model seals the conveying chamber with a carbon ring labyrinth seal and the driving shaft with a radial seal ring.
