FireSlug® is an alcohol-based gelled blivet ignition system designed for slash pile burning, forestry, logging, prescribed burning, and other land management applications.

Designed as an alternative to traditional liquid-fuel ignition methods, FireSlug® provides concentrated heat and an extended burn time of approximately 30 minutes to help establish slash piles in challenging field conditions.

FireSlug® can be used in rain, with wet piles and even under snowpack. The gelled formulation stays where it is placed rather than soaking into the surrounding ground, providing a more controlled approach to ground ignition.
