The RTM 2000 Series are hollow flanged style reaction torquemeters available in ranges from 60 lbf-in to 100,000 lbf-in.
Reaction torque measurements permit accurate determination of static and dynamic torque with a stationary or non-rotating transducer. They are based on Newton's third law of angular motion, which states, "when a body exerts a torque upon another body, the second exerts an equal torque upon the first in the opposite direction and about the same axis of rotation."
