Installation Requirements

  • The oil-water separator should be installed at the end of the whole kitchen drain. Before installation, the height of the existing drain pipe (the oil-water separator inlet pipe) should be confirmed.
  • The oil-water separator must be installed horizontally and discharged with the kitchen partition. If it is on the same floor, a sewage lifting device must be added;
  • Power supply: AC 380V (3P+N+PE)
  • Fill the water inlet above the oil-water separator with water before installation and debugging.

 

Equipment principle

The oil-water separator is a specialized system designed to collect waste oils discharged through kitchen drains. Sewage enters the solid-liquid separation chamber via the inlet. Larger solid impurities are intercepted by a screen and lifted to the sedimentation tank using a screw lifter. A sand settling hopper is installed at the bottom of the separation zone. The solid-free sewage then flows into the oil-water separation chamber through the outlet. Here, the density difference between oil and water causes the grease to float on the surface. The stationary sewage below the separation zone enters the temporary storage tank through the discharge pipe. An oil discharge port above the chamber allows periodic oil removal based on quantity. The oil-free sewage is then pumped into the municipal sewer system through the temporary storage tank.
