The ODISI 6000 is a distributed fiber optic sensing solution for measuring temperature with very high spatial resolution. Using very small and flexible optical fiber sensors, the ODiSI 6000 can measure temperature either 1 cm or sub-millimeter intervals.

Because the system uses fiber optic sensors, temperature measurements can be made in the most challenging environments. Fiber optic sensors are electrically passive, immune to EMI and high voltages, generally chemically inert and non-corrosive, and tolerant or radiation.  And because the optical fiber sensors are very low profile and flexible they can be embedded or applied wherever you high precise temperature measurements.

The ODiSI high-definition distributed fiber optic sensing system is used in a variety of industrial, production and  research applications, delivering the measurement data not available with more traditional measurement and DAQ systems. Examples include reactor monitoring, continuous casting monitoring, process monitorig of material curing, thermoplastic welding, and thermal analysis of batteries, fuel cells and power electronics.
