Oriental Motor is pleased to introduce the expansion of the BLE2 Series brushless motor and driver, now available with Electromagnetic Brake. The optional electromagnetic brake is now available on the 120 W (1/6 HP) and 200 W (1/4 HP) IP66 rated motors. These electromagnetic brakes are now standard offerings on parallel shaft GFV geared type motors or round shaft type motors.

With the electromagnetic brake, the BLE2 Series speed control motor driver can now operate in vertical load applications (gravitational operation). It can hold the load in position while in operation and when the power is suddenly cut off to the motor. BLE2 Series motors with the optional electromagnetic brake requires the new BLE2D type driver to function.

The new IP66 motor connection cable has the added benefit of allowing for a simple, worry-free connection. Cable connector orientations include output shaft side (F), opposite side of output shaft (B) and new vertical cable direction (for Emag only at this time, [V]).
