A Slotted Spring Pin is a cost-effective, general-purpose fastening solution used across countless applications. During installation, the pin compresses and applies continuous outward pressure against the hole wall. Its primary spring action occurs opposite the slot as the pin’s two halves flex, enabling it to accommodate wider hole tolerances than rigid solid pins—often reducing component manufacturing costs.

Also known as roll pins, split pins, expansion pins, tension pins, or simply spring pins, SPIROL’s Slotted Spring Pins are available in high-carbon steel and stainless steel.
