Compared with similar all-metal couplings, these joints offer lower inertia, higher torsional strength, and an improved strength-to-weight ratio. Thick-walled molded plastic hubs provide durability while reducing overall system weight.

Available in single- and double-jointed configurations, the universal joints can be supplied with molded or brass slide extensions in both inch and metric sizes. All models operate at temperatures up to 180°F (85°C), support maximum angular displacement of 45°, and handle torque ratings up to 60 in·lbf.
