An alkaline liquid is used in the degreasing process, which is the preliminary treatment in the hot-dip galvanizing process. An acidic liquid is used in the pickling process to perform surface treatment. Also, acidic, or alkaline liquids are used for plating. Many of TEXEL's corrosion-resistant pumps, which have excellent durability and can safely transfer even highly corrosive chemicals, are used to transport the chemical liquids in those processes.

A chemical reaction occurs in the zinc plating bath, producing harmful gases. TEXEL's corrosion-resistant blowers are used to exhaust the gases, and TEXEL's scrubbers are used to treat the exhaust gas and safely release it into the air.
