Clip Insertion Gear for Precision Vertical Up Operations
Built to rapidly feed and insert clips, the VIM-600-L locking punch with clip staging has a range of flexible adapter options that allow placement within a variety of process environments. It can perform automatic clip insertion adapted for 6-axis robot EOAT, top mount for SCARA, and stationary weldment surface mounting. The robust precision hammer and punch lock into position allowing insertion horizontally, vertically, or multiple angles at high insertion rates.
Punch position sensors provide PLC feedback for home, staging OK, and insertion depth verification ensuring cycle consistency. Visumatic tooling tips are custom engineered to interface with towers and component surface details allowing maximum assembly efficiency and accuracy.
