Available in 3 speeds — 30nS, 70nS & 100nS — the SMF/SXF diodes are perfect for 100kHz and higher applications.

Starting with VMI's standard glass-body, hermetically sealed diodes, these devices are over-molded in a rigid epoxy. The leads are then trimmed and formed.

• Specially designed for use with automatic insertion equipment such as pick-and-place machines.

VMI’s film-assisted molding and laser marking process is utilized on our over-molded SMF and SXF diode manufacturing. Film-assisted molding improves reliability and manufacturability of parts and the addition of the laser marking includes a 2D barcode providing lot traceability for each diode produced.
