Chapter 2 will introduce the implementation processes of Robust Engineering into the corporate environment and provide the complete and detailed strategies behind the process. This chapter will also show the compatability and the enhancements of any other quality program or process that organization may already have in place. There are those organizations that absolutely thrive on change and embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with change and diversity. Those organizations will have the foresight and the vision to see that the Robust Engineering implementation strategy can be a guide for them. Robust Engineering will ultimately help them to stay on the cutting edge and ahead of their competition by incorporating these processes with what they may already be doing.
The six-step implementation process follows as below. It is extremely important that all of these elements be used in the process which makes up the strategies of methodology in the implementation. The number of steps may be added or deleted as needed to complement corporate strengths or to enhance and build in less-developed areas of the organization. Also, without the full support of managers following the implementation strategies for the Robust Engineering process, the organization will not receive the full benefit of this program. Companies who face major challenges and have the greatest needs for a working quality process will definitely have the most to gain from Robust Engineering.
