The Table Gauge X40 turns Intelligent Laser Gauges into a high-precision bench-top micrometer for fast, fully contactless diameter measurement.
It is used for off-line inspection of ground or turned parts such as shafts, pins, piston pins, hydraulic components, and other precision-machined items.
Key benefits include non-contact measurement that prevents damage and eliminates hysteresis (inversion error), with no PC required for easy shop-floor use.
It is quick and simple to operate, reducing inspection time and increasing throughput. Results are highly repeatable and independent of operator skill, with flexible setup for different part types without re-mastering.
It delivers metrology-level accuracy directly on the shop floor, reducing reliance on lab inspection and specialized personnel.
Explore the automated testing line designed for transmission case and housing quality assurance. This line utilizes four distinct stations to perform comprehensive leak testing and visual inspections. Focusing on the step-by-step process, with a focus on differentiating between fully automated and semi-automated stages within the system.
This new visual tool setter combines a compact design with the same exceptional repeatability and accuracy that our products are known for. Perfect for tight machine spaces, the VTS employs shadow projection technology, capturing information in just one moment. The tool can rotate at maximum speed during measurements, eliminating the need to slow down the spindle and guarantee measurement accuracy.
Leak testing is a specific test operation in the Flow plates production process, since it verifies the tightness of coolant, hydrogen and air circuits (total no. 3) of the fuel cell''s Bipolar plates, simulating real operating condition. Fundamental is the design and construction of the components sealings, fully customized by Helium Technology.
The perfect circuits configuration and sealing of the single and bipolar plates are the most important features to guarantee the efficiency and longevity of the fuel cell system. The leak test guarantees the correct production (by stamping or hydroforming) and prevents any other criticalities in stack assembly and its functioning.
This test is really important for the use of fuel cell in fuel cell electric vehicle applications, in order to guarantee the quality and safety standards typical of the automotive market.
Chromatic line sensors for fast and precise 3D measurement and inspection
Chromatic Confocal technology is the optimized solution to produce high-accuracy bump measurements. Optical pens offer different working distance, measurement range, spot sizes and numerical apertures to better suit the application requirements. Interferometric products (IR and white light) are also available to detect the thickness of transparent and non-transparent materials performing very accurate measures.
Line sensors also allow 3D imaging: coaxial acquisition over a defined line length is performed at a high-frequency while maintaining the advantage of a large depth of focus and high numerical aperture.
All these types of sensors can be integrated inside metrology and inspection machines. The decades of experience of Marposs and STIL''s are available for a customized solution and dedicated optical design.
Marposs NVH G-EAR tester offers what today gear manufacturers really need to complete their internal production quality inspection. With its solid and robust structure, the machine, which works on the Single Flank rolling action principle, is capable to test gears under high speed and torque conditions to evaluate surface defects, machining distortions and noise behavior on the individual component prior to the assembly into the gearbox.
VTS image processing technology allows maximum precision measurement and complete tool characterization to reach the best manufacturing quality typical of die and mold, micromachining, aerospace and high-end electrical goods.
Marposs provides complete solutions for battery cells inspection. Thanks to the polyhedric competences made available by the companies of the Group, the cells can be measured to check dimensional characteristic, safety conditions, and electrical functional parameters. Different customized solutions can be proposed, depending on the type of cells (prismatic, cylindrical or pouch) and the requirements for integration in the manufacturing line. These machines can be used either for End-of-Line (EOL) testing in battery cells manufacturing, or for Beginning-of-Line (BOL) testing and sorting in module assembly lines. A proper Xive assembly strategy of the cells into the module and pack, based on the measured parameters, can guarantee a better balancing and improve the global quality of the product.
Leak testing is a fundamental operation in the battery cell production process, in particular for the new generations of lithium-ion secondary batteries.
The perfect sealing of the housing is one of the most important features to guarantee the quality and long-term reliability of the cells. On the one hand, it is essential to prevent even the smallest electrolyte losses. These are often composed of flammable components which, reacting with ambient humidity, could generate toxic compounds. On the other hand, the possible ingress of humidity or other contaminants into the cell could compromise its correct functioning and reduce its efficiency.
If, in general, checking the tightness of the battery cells is an essential operation in the production chain of lithium-ion cells, this test is even more important with the use of batteries in electric vehicle applications, in order to guarantee the quality and safety standards typical of the automotive market.
The perfect mix of measuring ranges, electrical compatibilities and extremely high accuracy in its analog and digitised versions, makes Red Crown 2 pencil probe family the ideal solution for any gauge and fixture maker.

Pointe Precision turned a tough fuel metering valve application into true lights-out production, thanks to Marposs precision solutions. These valves, critical to commercial aircraft engines, require sub-2-micron tolerances and 100% inspection.
By integrating Marposs Multi Station gages and Dittel sensors into an automated grinding cell, Pointe Precision now measures 18 dimensions in under a minute, feeds real-time corrections back to the machine, and runs three shifts unattended.
The result? Cycle times cut up to 34%, single-digit gage R&R, zero PPM defects, and consistent on-time delivery. With Marposs at the core, Pointe Precision combines speed, precision, and reliability for mission-critical aerospace parts.
ATMOS™ is an automatic system for measuring the brimful internal volume of glass containers using pneumatic technology instead of water. It is ideal for perfumery containers with small bore diameters that cannot be measured with water-based systems, and also handles wide-mouth containers such as cosmetic jars.
It operates on pressure unbalance between a reference pneumatic circuit and a measurement circuit containing the container. A precision, position-controlled pneumatic actuator generates a reference volume, and volumetric deviation is calculated from pressure differences when the circuits are connected.
ATMOS™ can run as a standalone unit with manual loading and automatic measurement, or be installed downstream of a VisiQuick™ machine for automatic transfer after dimensional inspection. Results are assigned by cavity number, and containers are sorted into "good" and "scrap," enabling compliant parts to be recovered and reused in production.
The ML3G is a non-contact tool measurement system designed to provide accurate, reliable tool control directly on the machine, helping reduce manual errors, improve productivity, and maintain consistent machining performance.
Using laser-based technology, the ML3G measures tools by interrupting a laser beam, eliminating the risk of damaging small, fragile, or coated tools. Measurements can be performed at real cutting speeds, even at thousands of RPM, with results unaffected by run-out or dynamic length variations.
In addition to tool pre-setting, the ML3G supports tool breakage detection, integrity verification, and cutting edge profile scanning for enhanced process control. Its reinforced structure withstands coolant and chip contamination, while multiple lengths and mounting options allow flexible integration into a wide range of machine tool applications.
Meet the M39S from Marposs, an ultra-high precision scanning gauge designed for injector components, aircraft control valves, and other demanding precision applications. Using advanced pneumatic gauging technology, the M39S measures internal and external diameters along the full axial length to evaluate matching clearance with sub-micron accuracy.
Engineered for exceptional repeatability and reliability, the M39S supports selective assembly, match grinding, honing, and quality control applications. The system can detect taper, barrel shape, and other form errors while providing detailed graphical profiles of measured surfaces.
Its compact and robust design makes it ideal for integration into production lines and automated manufacturing environments where precision and long-term performance are critical.
