The safeRS and safeRS3 safe radar systems are electro-sensitive 3D protective devices for safe personal detection with very high machine productivity. They protect applications in accordance with PL d or SIL 2 in line with ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061. A radar system consists of an evaluation unit and up to 6 sensors which enable switchover to a protected mode as soon as a person enters the protected area. The high resistance to dirt, dust clouds, wood chips, plastic particles and sparks as well as the insensitivity to ambient light such as solar radiation or infrared waves enables reliable operation, even under the toughest ambient conditions. The radar systems stand out due to their rugged sensor housing and quick and easy commissioning.

It also reliably detects small and dark objects. The sensor delivers exact measurement data and features integrated processing of data that is transmitted to e.g. mobile robots. The product family multiScan100 offers two hardware variants. One of the main difference is the field of view of 65° x 360° (multiScan136) and 42° x 360° (multiScan165). This rosbag recording shows both, the multiScan136 and multiScan165 in comparison. You can download these rosbags yourself by clicking on the following link: https://support.sick
The camera offers a live stream that makes it possible to monitor critical processes and blind spots. Using the integrated image recording function, the device can create images, e.g. for quality documentation. In the event of unplanned machine stops and sporadic errors, the event recording function supports rapid root cause analysis by recording event videos before and after a trigger signal.Check it out yourself here: sensingCam SEC100 - Machine vision | SICK
In this example, IO-Link data from a SICK sensor is made available to a MQTT broker and via HTTP REST.
In this video you can see how the ANS/ANM58 offers an excellent solution for various applications - from packaging machines and warehouse automation to classic mechanical engineering - thanks to its mechanical variability, compact design with an installation depth of just 39 mm (radial version) and the PROFINET interface with encoder profile V4.2. Thanks to isochronous real time (IRT) and comprehensive diagnostic functions via SOPAS ET, the encoder enables precise motion monitoring, condition-based maintenance and maximum productivity. See how the ANS/ANM58 synchronizes your processes, reduces downtime, and boosts productivity!
