Glenn Quinty, Senior Product Specialist, discusses ThermOmegaTech''s Silent Type Venturi Mixing (STVM) Washdown Station.
Washdown Stations are high temperature and high pressure systems that address need for cleanliness and sanitation in a wide array of applications, wherever efficient, economical and low-maintenance means of hot-water clean-up are needed. This video addresses:
- Operation
- Safety Start-up
- Setting Temperature
- Shutdown
The self-operating Therm-O-Mix® Station instantly delivers tepid water to emergency safety showers and eyewash stations, using only a facility''s existing steam and water supplies. The unit is completely mechanical and requires no outside electricity or air to function, making it particularly ideal for explosion-proof industrial environments.
The ESS water heater is a packaged system designed to meet the requirements of ANSI Z358.1-2014 for tepid water delivery to an emergency drench system. This heavy-duty water heater is constructed of a carbon steel tank and internally lined with 1/2″ thick Hydrastone cement to ensure tank longevity when operating at elevated temperatures, and is fully insulated with 3″ thick polyurethane foam to minimize stand-by heat loss.
The ESS water heater is packaged with our Therm-O-Mix®/WWM specifically designed, tested and proven for use in emergency safety shower/face/eyewash applications.
When you specify and install an ESS, you will have the confidence in knowing that the owner will be provided with a long lasting, safe and dependable source of tepid water for their emergency drench system needs.
Product manager, Dana Logue, discusses how ThermOmegaTech''s self-opening Guru Plugs are the gold standard for Freeze Protection. GURU Plugs are installed at the lowest point in a diesel locomotive''s engine coolant system and on their water-cooled compressors to automatically monitor the water temperature. The plug''s thermal actuator will sense the water temperature and snap open to drain the system when the engine is shut down and temperatures are close to freezing. Utilizing the same trusted technology as the GURU Plug, the GURU PC Valve protects passenger train cars from freeze damage. Installed at the lowest point in the passenger car''s potable water-bearing system, the GURU PC constantly monitors ambient temperatures and will automatically modulate open to drain the system before freezing can occur when the car heat is turned off during layovers or locomotive switches.
