Some chassis varieties can be mounted within a rack. Rack mount units can be mounted directly into a rack. They come equipped with the necessary rail guides, flanges, or tabs to be mounted in this fashion. The standard 19" rack is typical of this style. NFPA 72 requires that fire alarm signals be distinctive in sound from other signals and used for that purpose only. This is known as the three-pulse temporal pattern. | ||
