DIN Rail       Devices mount on a standard DIN rail. DIN is an acronym for Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN), a German national organization for standardization.
Panel Mount       Devices are designed for placement within an existing panel and may require specific measurement and sizing.
Surface Mount       Devices have mounting holes. Some DIN rail devices can be surface mounted.
PCB Mount       Through hole technology (THT) mounts components on a printed circuit board (PCB) by inserting component leads through holes in the board and then soldering the leads in place on the opposite side of the board. Surface mount technology (SMT) adds components to a printed circuit board (PCB) by soldering component leads or terminals to the top surface of the board. SMT components have a flat surface that is soldered to a flat pad on the face of the PCB. Typically, the PCB pad is coated with a paste-like formulation of solder and flux. With careful placement, SMT components on solder paste remain in position until elevated temperatures, usually from an infrared oven, melt the paste and solder the component leads to the PCB pads.

Terminal Type Terminals are devices that terminate a conductor. They attach to posts, studs, or other conductors in order to establish an electrical connection.
   Terminal Type:
   Your choices are...
Screw Terminals       Electrical connections are made using screws.
Solder Terminals       Electrical connection is made by soldering wires or pins onto a printed circuit board (PCB).
Crimp Terminals       Crimp is the physical compression (deformation) of a contact wire barrel around a conductor to make an electrical and mechanical connection to the conductor.
Quick Connect / Disconnect Terminals       Quick connect / disconnect terminals do not require the use of tools.
Other Terminal Type       Other unlisted terminal types.
