From Electronics I Laboratory Manual
The Theory section of this experiment is the same as the one presented in Experiment 9. It is very important for the student to review Section 9.4 on in order to completely understand this experiment.
It is also important for the reader to compare the results of this experiment with the results of Experiment 9. In this way the student will have a much better understanding of the important concepts of DC biasing and the stability of transistor circuits in particular, and semiconductor devices in general.
