FCI Basics Metral^® accessories are compatible with Metral^® 2mm Board-to-Board and Board-to-Cable connector systems. These are comprised of shrouds, coding keys, and guiding systems. These enhance the usability and flexibility of Metral^® connectors that are designed according to Futurebus+ standards. Metral^® accessories support capabilities that allow the connector form midplane configurations and are equipped with multiple designs that facilitate easy visual and tactile identification. They also prevent the incorrect inserstion of PCB and daughtercard.

Standalone guiding modules improve connector alignment
Shrouds are available for 4- and 5-row versions of Metral^® connectors
Coding keys are available in colored, polarized, and extended length versions
