ARDE Barinco completed the invention, fabrication and testing of a heavy duty Duplex 2205 Stainless steel high shear rotor capable of pumping rates in the 1000 GPM flowrate range.
The extra thick axial flow rotor is fabricated from Duplex grade 2205 Stainless steel and is formed at over 500 degrees F. The high shear impeller can develop shear rates in the 30,000 reciprocal seconds area while pumping low viscosity liquids at over 1000 GPM. Powered by a 25 to 40 horsepower motor, the C5/6 series Reversible Homogenizing Mixers can mix batches as large as 5000 gallons.
