4970 is a 9 mil, white, double coated tape, consisting of a PVC carrier and an acrylic adhesive. It is used primarily in permanent mounting applications such as decorative name plates & wooden trims. It offers a secure bound to rough surfaces and is plasticizer resistant. Because of its gold liner, 4970 is also known as tesa goldline tape.
4965 is an 8mil, double coated adhesive tape consisting of a transparent polyester film with a red polypropylene release liner. The adhesive system is especially resistant to plasticisers and offers a secure bond even at elevated temperatures.
51970 is a transparent, 9 mil, double coated adhesive tape. It consists of a polypropylene carrier with a light and age resistant modified acrylic adhesive. It is available with a paper liner and offers a secure bond even on rough surfaces. 51970 resists temperatures up to 212°F.
