Multi-Purpose Planetary Gearboxes
Featured Product from jbj Techniques Limited
Multi-Purpose Planetary Gearboxes
A complete range of high-performance planetary gearboxes designed for demanding industrial applications. Our units can be driven by electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic motors, or supplied with a bare input shaft (splined or parallel keyed).
At jbj Techniques, we can configure gearbox inputs to suit your exact requirements, even for one-off bespoke applications.
Built for Strength and Reliability
These planetary gearboxes are engineered for rugged operation and long service life.
Gear cases manufactured from nodular iron for exceptional strength.
Planet carriers produced from steel or high-tensile nodular iron.
Precision heat-treated gearing with lead and profile modifications for smooth, low-vibration performance.
Floating planet carriers ensure load is evenly distributed across all components.
Spline gear profiles allow the system to handle higher loads, while the all-roller bearing planet gear design improves efficiency and provides excellent start-up torque.
High-tensile steel performance shafts and oversized shaft diameters (larger than typical industry standards) further increase load capacity, creating a gearbox capable of handling even the most demanding applications.

Application Considerations
Combined thrust and radial shaft loads may reduce bearing life.
For accurate life calculations or application verification, contact the jbj Techniques technical team.
Combination of high torque and heavy radial shaft load might require verification of the output shaft.
If the following condition is not fulfilled contact jbj Techniques technical office, for accurate verification of your specific application: [Radial load (applied) ÷ Radial load (admissible)] x [Torque (applied) ÷ Torque (nominal)] < 0.5
