Challenges of treating biogas sludge:
- High initial moisture content – Sludge often exceeds 95–98% water, making volume reduction energy?intensive and costly.
- Variable solids concentration – Fluctuations from <0.2% to >4% solids challenge conventional dewatering equipment, causing clogging or inefficient operation.
- Complex organic composition – Contains residual fibers, fats, and inorganic grit that can wear parts and interfere with flocculation.
Multi-disk Screw Press:
Integrates an automatic control cabinet, sludge thickening and dewatering unit, and a liquid collection tank. Under fully automatic operation, it enables efficient flocculation and continuous sludge thickening and dewatering, allowing the collected filtrate to be recirculated or discharged.
