SPIROL Introduces New Lightweight Aluminum Compression Limiters

SPIROL has launched the Series CL6000 Aluminum Precision Machined Compression Limiters, engineered to reinforce high-stress joints in plastic assemblies. Designed to prevent plastic deformation, these Limiters absorb clamp load during bolt tightening—ensuring long-term joint strength and reliability.

Made from 2024-grade aluminum, the CL6000 offers the best combination of strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and cost—40% stronger and one-third the weight of brass. The CL6100 Headed version provides added bearing surface for mating components.

For applications requiring a galvanic alternative, SPIROL also introduces the CL8000 and CL8100 Series in brass.

Replacing the previous CL600 and CL800 lines, the new series delivers:

• Enhanced precision for automated or molded-in assembly

• Improved retention for post-mold installation

• Expanded product range with more standard sizes and configurations

Both aluminum and brass versions are available in headed and non-headed styles.
