Bandpass Filters Bandpass Filters. Bandpass filters are optical filters designed to transmit a defined spectral band while blocking or attenuating wavelengths outside that range. Depending on the application, the passband may be narrower than 1 nm for laser, fluorescence, or spectroscopy systems, or broad enough to span tens to hundreds of nanometers for imaging, sensing, and illumination. Bandpass filters typically use thin-film interference coatings on substrates such as optical glass, fused silica, sapphire... (read more) -

ABS Absorption Filter Many rolling applications require the use of light oil in place of the typical water-soluble coolant. Traditionally clarification of the roll oils has been done with disposable cartridge filters or diatomaceous earth filters. These methods, while effective, are maintenance intensive and require disposable guard filters. To address these issues, Filtertech has developed the Model ABS Absorption Filter that is fully automatic and eliminates the need for any precoating or use of disposable filters... High Pass Filters Our standard high pass filters as all our standard RF filter products are derived from previous manufactured designs which have been proven and tested. A high pass filter is somewhat a bit more complex as far as achieving the specification over a very broad band as oppose to it's opposite counterpart the Low pass filter. It will depend largely on the additional parasitic components within and element, such an inductor which have a self resonant frequency due to it's parasitic capacitance, which... FLUORESCENCE FILTERS FOR MICROSCOPY AND IMAGING Fluorescence Filters for Microscopy and Imaging. Fluorescence microscopes and imaging systems utilize fluorescent biomarkers and fluorescence filter sets to create bright, high contrast images of biomolecules, organelles, cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems. Because image quality is highly dependent on the design and overall performance of the fluorescence filters integrated into these systems, optical filter performance is just as important to the final image as sample preparation... Specs Matched RF Filters Our Specs Matched RF Filters are RF Filters from our existing database of products and engineering designs that match your specific requirements. We will first research our database for products and past designs for an exact match, or a product and design that very closely matches your specifications and determine if it can be "tweaked " to match your exact requirements. In many cases, an already designed RF filter or a design from our engineering database may already exist and might only...
