7.4 Summary

We have described one set of techniques for systematically constructing an online version of a system, from a PIM, and a process model for applying these techniques. Other approaches, such as the use of JSPs to separate HTML from server-side code, could also be used instead of or together with this approach. Guidelines for improving the usability and portability of web interfaces have also been given.
