TABLE OF CONTENTS This chapter was a discussion of advanced AdvFS topics, such as troubleshooting and tuning. This information should prove particularly helpful when faced with problems.
Keep in mind that in Chapter 9 on troubleshooting we present some case studies at real customer sites. Each case study used one or more specialized techniques for solving some type of real-world AdvFS problem. This chapter should provide you with much of the background you need to read and understand the discussion in Chapter 9. Also, as we mentioned on numerous occasions in this chapter, Appendix B has detailed information on the advanced tools you can use to perform operations on the AdvFS.
In the next chapter, we cover how to set up and configure Tru64 UNIX systems for various specialized applications.
