In this chapter, we discussed the ISA 2006 firewall s VPN remote access server and VPN gateway features. The VPN remote access server supports both PPTP and L2TP/IPSec connections from remote access VPN clients. The ISA 2006 firewall s VPN gateway supports IPSec tunnel mode, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec connections from other VPN gateways. We also discussed other topics related to the ISA firewall s support for VPN clients and gateways, including EAP authentication and DHCP server configuration.
