TABLE OF CONTENTS As discussed in previous chapters, the term Digital Asset Management has different meanings; in the broad sense, all the products listed in this appendix are types of Digital Asset Management. In this section, however, we apply the definition in a stricter sense and list only those systems that specialize in managing assets and that are not part of any other category.
As usual, you must look at the individual systems features and not just the product category to find out what the systems can do for you.
Aladdin FlashBack is an application which has no competitor but was an obvious failure on the market nonetheless. It is no longer developed, although you can still get it from Allume Systems (which is Aladdin Systems new name) for older Windows and Mac systems.
