The Engineer (OR ......) is responsible for defining the relevant plant and equipment, scheduling its maintenance and monitoring how the maintenance has been carried out.

Maintenance staff shall carry out the work and shall record the outcome of the maintenance carried out.
All equipment which shall be properly operational if the organisation is to satisfy its environmental obligations shall be listed together with the maintenance cycles which must be observed. In determining the maintenance cycles, attention shall be paid to any legislative requirements regarding the frequency of maintenance.
This equipment shall be included in the existing planned maintenance system.
