You don't need to nail your budget down to the penny at this point, but you should be looking at some ballpark figures for the various aspects of the project. The items to be considered include Internet connections, hardware expenses, labor costs (be very conservative here . . . it is better to overestimate these costs than to underestimate them), and so on. If you have a rough sketch of your project and are exploring outsourcing, this might be the time to contact some providers for input. Get prices from ISPs and vendors.
