In the last chapter, you learned how to start AutoCAD LT, set up new drawings, and save drawings to the computer's hard drive. In this chapter, you learn how to draw lines accurately, make simple changes to drawings, and produce copies of drawings on your printer.
File Open
If you exited AutoCAD LT at the end of the last chapter, you need to restart AutoCAD LT, and load the Yard drawing. Here's how:
Be sure Windows is running.
Start AutoCAD LT by selecting AutoCAD LT from the Windows Start menu. (Alternatively, double-click the AutoCAD LT icon on the Windows desktop.)
Absolute coordinates measurements made relative to the drawing origin
Aperture area at the cursor where AutoCAD LT searches for objects to snap to
Direct distance entry method of entering points by moving the mouse in a direction, then entering the distance
