Computer Graphics for Architects, Engineers and Environmental Designers

Chapter five introduced the digital production process. This included an introduction to collaboration between software applications and basic notions of workflow where content moves from creation applications to assembly applications and finally to distribution applications. Chapter six focused on background concepts for producing 2D bitmap content, 2D vector content, 3D modeling content, and some aspects of audio and video content. This chapter will take a closer look at producing, displaying, and printing e-graphics, as well as some issues associated with electronic distribution of e-graphics.
