Appendix: About the CD-ROM

Included on the CD-ROM are simulations, figures from the text, third party software, and other files related to topics in biotechnology and genetic engineering. See the "README" files for any specific information/system requirements related to each file folder, but most files will run on Windows 2000 or higher and Linux.
Color figures from the text are also included on the CD-ROM and have been indicated in the text by a CD icon.
