This chapter provides the reader with a short description of the roles and responsibilities of the various levels of management and practitioners. Descriptions of the various roles and responsibilities can be found embedded in various places throughout CMMI , including the front material, the process areas, and the generic practices. These ideas will be combined with my own ideas and interpretations to provide the widest and most flexible but usable definitions.
