| ||
| Wavelength Range | The range of wavelengths that UV sensors detect. There are three main bands: UVA, UVB, and UVC. UVA radiation covers the wavelengths from 315 nm to 400 nm. UVB radiation is the range of wavelengths between 280 nm and 315 nm. UVC is the band between 100 nm and 280 nm. Because UVC is the most energetic of these three bands, it is the most harmful to human skin. | ||
| Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria. | ||
| Accuracy | This is a measure of how accurately UV sensors measure ultraviolet radiation. | ||
| Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value less than or equal to the specified value. | ||
| Power Range | The power range of the UV sensor. | ||
| Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria. | ||
| Weight | The weight of the sensor. This is particularly important if the UV sensor will be used in the field. | ||
| Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value less than or equal to the specified value. | ||
| Operating Temperature | The range of ambient temperatures in which UV sensors are designed to operate. | ||
| Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria. | ||
Sensor Output
Back to Top
|
|
| ||
| Your choices are... | |||
| Power | The sensor output is expressed as a power per unit area. This output type is more typical of laboratory UV sensors. | ||
| UV Index | The sensor output is expressed in UV index units. This output type is typical of environmental UV sensors. | ||
| Other | Other unlisted sensor output types. | ||
| Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches. | ||
| Display Type | |||
| Your choices are... | |||
| Needle Indicator | The display has a face, usually with graduations and a pointer, for analog measurements. | ||
| Numeric | The display is presented as whole numbers, usually in digital form. | ||
| Alphanumeric | The display uses both letters and numbers, usually in digital form. | ||
| Video | Data is presented via cathode ray tube (CRT), liquid crystal display (LCD), or other multi-line forms. | ||
| None | The device has a sensor element, but no display. | ||
| Other | Other unlisted display types. | ||
| Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches. | ||
