The high-performance optoNCDT ILR2250 laser distance sensor is used whenever large measuring ranges and high accuracy are required. The optoNCDT ILR2250 can be installed at distances up to 100 m, and even up to 150 m with a reflector film. This sensor impresses when measuring dark, structured and poorly reflecting surfaces, while providing stable measurement results to millimeter accuracy. While maintaining a high signal stability, it provides precise measurement results. The sensor has different measurement modes for optimized measurements of demanding surfaces. With an aluminum die-cast housing, measurements both outdoors and indoors are possible.
Laser scanners from Micro-Epsilon are among the most powerful profile sensors with regard to accuracy and measurement rate. The compact scanners with integrated controller are ideally suited for highly accurate 2D/3D profile measurements in automation, production monitoring and quality control.
Advanced technology
• Multiple measuring ranges and laser types (red, blue, classes 2/3)
• High profile resolution for the detection of finest details
• High profile rate for dynamic measurement tasks
• Factory calibration for metals
• Proven operational safety in 24/7 operation over many years
Laser scanners from Micro-Epsilon are available with a red laser diode or with the patented Blue Laser Technology. Impressing with high signal stability, Blue Laser scanners are preferably used for profile measurements on red-hot glowing metals, as well as transparent surfaces.
optoNCDT 1320/1420 laser sensors based on the triangulation measuring principle perform non-contact displacement, distance and position measurements. Due to their low weight combined with compact size, the optoNCDT 1320/1420 sensors can be easily integrated into restricted installation spaces and are ideally suitable for applications where high accelerations occur e.g. on the robot arm or in pick-and-place machines. The high-performance optical system projects the small light spot sharply onto the measurement object which enables to even detect smallest components reliably.
Confocal chromatic sensors provide the latest modern technology for displacement, distance, position and thickness measurements combined with maximum precision and high speed. Especially when measuring on reflecting and shiny targets, confocal chromatic sensors provide high accuracy whereas laser sensors are overdriven due to the high light intensity. This is a major advantage in a 'live' production process, where tactile measurement technology is operating at its limits, especially if the target is located in a difficult-to-access area. Micro-Epsilon is one of the leading companies in the field of high precision sensor technology. Confocal chromatic sensors and controllers provide unsurpassed advantages in terms of measuring rate, sensitivity and precise thickness measurement. Different sensor models and controller interfaces open versatile fields of application, e.g. in the semiconductor industry, glass industry, medical engineering and plastics production.
With more than 6,000 engineer-years and 120 patents, Micro-Epsilon stands out due to its widespread knowledge in high precision sensor technology which enables measurements to sub-nanometer accuracy. These sensors are used worldwide in process automation, for quality improvement and in terms of resource conservation. Most of the sensors are designed to customer-specific requirements for exceptional projects such as the European Extremely Large Telescope which is the largest mirror telescope in the world
Eddy current sensors from Micro-Epsilon (eddyNCDT) measure distances,
displacements, or positions of any electrically-conductive target. Eddy
current sensors from Micro-Epsilon are ideally suited for applications
in harsh industrial environments (pressure, dust, temperature).
Furthermore, the eddy current sensors are integrated in semiconductor
applications where submicron accuracy is demanded.
+ High precision and resolution
+ Non-contact and wear-free
+ Insensitive to dirt
+ Suitable for fast applications
+ Very good price/performance ratio
Draw-wire sensors of the wireSENSOR series measure almost linearly across the entire measuring range and are used for distance and position measurements of 50mm up to 50,000mm. Draw-wire sensors from Micro-Epsilon are ideal for integration and subsequent assembly in high volume OEM applications e.g. in medical devices, lifts, conveyors and automotive engineering.
With a resolution of < 30 picometers, the innovative interferoMETERs from Micro-Epsilon achieve a new level of precision in optical measurement technology. Depending on the application, three different versions are available. The IMS5400-DS for high precision and industrial distance measurements; the IMS5400-TH for precise thickness measurements; and the IMS5600-DS with vacuum-suitable design for distance measurements of subnanometer accuracy.
The interferometer sensors enable a sub-nanometer resolution. In addition, they generate a 10 µm light spot over the entire measuring range. This allows the measurement of small details such as structures on semiconductors and miniaturized electronic components. The light spot is visualized by a pilot laser and facilitates the alignment of the sensor.
Due to a user-friendly web interface, no additional software is necessary to configure the controller and the sensors.
