Description
The SC-59 Zener Diode is a semiconductor device designed to maintain a stable voltage across its terminals. Working Principle
Zener diodes, including the SC-59, operate based on the Zener effect, where the diode is designed to conduct in reverse once a specific breakdown voltage, known as the Zener voltage, is reached. This breakdown voltage is achieved by carefully controlling the doping level during manufacturing. When the reverse voltage applied to the diode exceeds this Zener voltage, the diode allows current to flow in the reverse direction, maintaining a stable voltage across its terminals. This property makes Zener diodes particularly useful for voltage regulation, as they can stabilize the output voltage against fluctuations in input voltage or load conditions.
Applications

Advantages over other Zener Diodes
