Here, you'll find a friendly overview of the AutoCAD 2002 User Interface for those of you who are making the jump from Release 14 to 2002. I also cover some of the more basic concepts, such as Object Snaps and Text, in this section. I've included a variety of tidbits within each chapter that will appeal to even the most advanced AutoCAD user, so don't discount this section because you're a veteran! Realizing that users of all levels read my column, I try to insert tips and tricks that will benefit all levels of technical expertise. For you newbies, I hope my words will make sense to you as you begin to discover the many aspects of AutoCAD. Be patient with yourself because there is so much to learn!
