Hands-On Guide to Windows Media

Microsoft PowerPoints are the communications tool of choice for speeches, conference presentations, and boardroom discussions. Using the New Presentation Wizard
Timing your narration to your slides
Adding a video to your presentation
Publishing your final project
The tutorial assumes you have a completed PowerPoint ( .ppt) file, a recorded audio narration in .wav format, and a video in .avi format. You also need access to a web server and a Windows Media Server. (Check with your Internet service provider or IT department for details.) You should also have a script with slide changes and other actions written down. As you build your presentation with Producer, refer to the script as your blueprint.
The following instructions walk you through the importation of slides from an existing Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and a previously recorded audio narration file.
