The chapters in this part of the book concentrate on the Design Phase and the Implementation Preparation Phase. Part II builds on the concepts and the case study introduced in Part I .
What follows in this preamble are some notes on the chapters relating to the Design Phase. By reading these notes the purpose and structure of these chapters will become apparent. The single chapter addressing the Implementation Preparation Phase of the project needs little introduction here as it deals with each of the activities in that phase in a self-contained way.
