The ability to quickly create and edit complicated engineering expressions is critical to effectively using Mathcad. This chapter teaches techniques to create and edit Mathcad expressions. It also discusses characteristics associated with text regions.

Provide several Mathcad examples to emphasize each of the items discussed.
Encourage completing several Mathcad Tutorials.
The purpose of this chapter is to provide you with a quick overview of how to create, edit and arrange math and text regions in your worksheet. It will reinforce the information contained in the Mathcad tutorial.
It is suggested that you read and do the exercises in the Mathcad tutorial before or just after reading this chapter. You can open the Mathcad tutorial by clicking Tutorials from the Help menu.
