EnDura® E90SR is raising the standards of performance in the oil and gas industry by improving the performance of critical sealing components in geothermal tools, pumps, valves, turbines, drilling tools and other equipment.
E90SR is the latest addition to the EnDura® range of elite elastomer materials specifically developed for use in downhole, surface and subsea oilfield equipment, offering excellent rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistance.
This advance in elastomer technology allows seal specifiers to choose E90SR in environments that previously would degrade all commercially available elastomers. Unlike traditional EPDM materials, EnDura® E90SR can withstand high temperatures (up to 550°F / 288°C) and high pressures, with excellent resistance to RGD. These properties make the new material ideal for use in anaerobic high-temperature environments, such as those encountered in geothermal applications and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) applications.
EnDura® E90SR is available as O-rings, T-seals and custom-molded geometries. The material has been tested for RGD resistance in carbon dioxide to NACE TM0297-97.
