Understanding SQL & Java Together: A Guide to SQLJ, JDBC, and Related Technologies

If you would like to acquire a copy of the ANSI SQL/OLB-98 standard, you can do so only through the American National Standards Institute, whose contact information is included in this appendix. The same is true of the standard for SQLJ Part 1 and the anticipated SQLJ Part 2 standard, as well as for all parts of the SQL standard. Of course, as these standards move through the ISO process and become international standards, you can acquire copies of them from your National Body.
In this appendix, we provide the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and (where available) fax numbers, email addresses, and even URLs of the Web pages for the national standards bodies for several countries. If we have omitted your country, we apologize; however, it is not feasible to list every country, so we've focussed on those countries that we believe are most likely to have interested readers.
Some countries have adopted the ISO standard and put their own standard number on it. However, this practice is not widespread and often lags publication of the ISO standard by as much as two or three years, so we haven't attempted to provide that data here.
The information we present here was current at the time of publication but is as is so much technical information today always subject to change.
